For my bridal bouquet, I'd like a large combination of bright yellow and white "fuller" flowers, like open roses and mums. I'd like the stems wrapped like the photo above, with thin navy ribbon over white. For the BMs, a small bouquet of white and a few brighter shades of yellow, with the stems wrapped in a navy blue ribbon. I like the lower right corner photo the best for the girls, and the lower left corner best for myself (except with yellow and white spider mums). I had a month or so where I thought I could do my own flowers, but quickly decided against it after I met Suz Colbeth, our florist and DOC (see vendors). She is so sweet, so talented, and so reasonably priced!
Centerpieces
I am using clear mason jars for the centerpieces, grouped into three or four in the center. Ideas for the contents of each jar:
1. flowers
2. fruit (see left, love this! But with lemons)
3. tealight candle
4. engagement photo, possibly with a fabric swatch over the top
5. table number (see below)
I was originally wanting to use blue mason jars, but we are now using navy blue as the accent color instead. See my DIY page for info on making the blue mason jars - they are way too expensive for me to purchase!
