Invitations
Here is our finished product!!! It is very us, which I love. I tried several different cursive-type fonts, but they just didn't speak to me the way this more modern, clean font did.
We designed the graphic, layout, and templates, printed everything at home on our Canon Pixma MP560 (used maybe one cartridge), cut the pocket dies at Paper Depot, cut everything else at home with an Xacto paper cutter, glued them together with Elmer's liquid craft glue (for the pockets) and Elmer's craft tape dispenser (for all the other pieces), and stuffed them in the envelopes with great satisfaction. Greg's mom did the calligraphy addresses, and printed our return address on the back. I also used a watermark stamp on the back of the invitation (the K) and also on the outside of the envelope below the return address (a bride and groom silhouette). Stamps are "Garden of Love" theme from USPS. They will be hand cancelled and into the mail by the end of the week!!!

We decided to do online RSVP, and I really hope we won't regret it! We are using mywedding.com's RSVP function, which allows you to export the responses into an Excel spreadsheet. Fingers crossed that it works! For our non-web-savvy guests, we have an additional cell phone we don't really use, so we changed the voicemail on it to say (in a slightly more eloquent way) "Thanks for calling Jenn and Greg's wedding RSVP voicemail! We hope you'll be able to join us for our celebration. Please leave your name, your reponse, and the names of any invited guests who will be attending with you. Also, leave your meal choice of chicken, beef, or vegetarian. Children under 12 will receive a kid's meal. Thanks for calling - we look forward to seeing you in September!"
Accommodations insert - not much to elaborate on!
The map was essentially hand drawn in Photoshop, and the icons downloaded from a google image search. I have all the files if anyone wants them!
Save the Dates
Greg and I put these together with our relatively limited knowledge of Photoshop. I think they turned out pretty well, considering! We printed them through Vistaprint, during their day-after-Thanksgiving sales. You could choose 10 free products out of a list of maybe 30 options, and one of the things we selected was 250 free postcards! The photo upload was free too, so we probably paid about $2 shipping for these and that was it!! They are standard sized postcards on a moderate weight paper.
